It felt like a place of new freedom and in a sense it was but still not the freedom the Spirit was leading me to and preparing me for. I was just beginning the walk out of the old.

I am greatful for a couple friends that so gently help me process some of it...not giving me answers but asking such questions that help me see things a little clearer.

Often I think it is easy to just move from the side of the coin we have been operating from to the other side of the coin. It's different but it's not freedom. I have no interest in doing that. But even if that is the case, that different perspective even though it is not where freedom will be found, could still turn out to be a productive process for those whose eyes are in the process of being opened.

I just see it all as being a process.Kenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14628311071875771935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8120369.post-36748209817263755152008-03-02T17:30:00.000-05:002008-03-02T17:30:00.000-05:00Kent,You said,Sometimes within that process we mig...Kent,
You said,
Sometimes within that process we might just be stepping out of one illusion into another one....
Maybe you'd like to furthar this thought?

I'm reminded of a time in the lives of the saints when this was said; It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion's exiles.

Being awakened from the nightmare dream world of fear, will ofetn appear to the natural-soulish minded person to but another realm of dreams.

The unspiritual self, just as it is by nature, can't receive the gifts of God's Spirit. There's no capacity for them. They seem like so much silliness. Spirit can be known only by spirit—God's Spirit and our spirits in open communion. Spiritually alive, we have access to everything God's Spirit is doing, and can't be judged by unspiritual critics. Isaiah's question, "Is there anyone around who knows God's Spirit, anyone who knows what he is doing?" has been answered: Christ knows, and we have Christ's Spirit.

RichRichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12630150578438657112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8120369.post-54589391818488035762008-03-02T16:43:00.000-05:002008-03-02T16:43:00.000-05:00Rich, I agree. The incremental process of having illusions dissed will be an ongoing process.

Sometimes within that process we might just be stepping out of one illusion into another one...but still this is movement and movement is much better than being paralized by fear. It seems to be all a part of the process.Kenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14628311071875771935noreply@blogger.com
