Mindful

My daughter sent us this poem that deeply touched her, as it like wise spoke to me of the wonder of His great love.

Rich

every day
i see or hear
something
that more or less

kills me
with delight,
that leaves me like a needle

in the haystack
of light.
it is what i was born for -
to look, to listen,

to lose myself
inside this soft world -
to instruct myself over and over

in joy,
and acclamation.
nor am i talking
about the exceptional,

the fearful, the dreadful,
the very extravagant -
but of the ordinary,
the common, the very drab,

the daily presentations.
oh, good scholar,
i say to myself,
how can you help

but grow wise
with such teachings
as these -
the untrimmable light

of the world,
the ocean's shine,
the prayers that are made
out of grass?

Look at me Dad

Even as I begin to write these words, I can barely see through the heart brokenness within spilling out through a flood of tears. Not tears of shame or guilt but of a sobering reality of my loving Papa saying to me, “Son, look at ME!”

How many of you that have kids and maybe there all grown up now remember back through their growing up years would reach out to you by saying, “Look at me dad?” Weren’t they wanting to see mirrored back to them through our hearts, eyes and waves, I am valued, I am special, my dad just said SO.

I missed out on mirroring back to my two precious children that total loving affirmation and acceptance of them for who they were and not for what they would be or could DO.
I was a father needing so badly a father to love me, I was alive but dead in not knowing I was totally loved, this prevented me from giving what I did not possess.

In reading more of He Loves Me by Wayne Jacobsen, I suddenly heard the voice of my heavenly Papa saying, “Son look at me, I’m here for you, I have never taken my eyes off of you, you are and have always been in my heart and thoughts.”
I sensed in a new way Father saying, “keep looking at me son, see mirrored in my heart/eyes, everything you will ever need. Son it is my delight to make known to you in the deepest places of your being, how pleased and proud I am of you, let’s explore together all that is, and yet to be yours.
As you learn to freely drink deep of my love, freely you will have me as your source to liberally give away
!"

I feel very much like a small child learning the wonder of crawling, and yet hearing my Papa shout out, “That’s my son, look at him go!”

Loneliness

This is a precious quote from Wayne over at the Lifestream Blog; “We often try to fill the God place in our life with others and thus miss how he wants to do it. So literally put him first. Find your life in him, not in your friendships with others. Learn the joy of waking up in the affection of Father each day, even if it takes months to learn.”

I love what Jesus says here, “HE HAS FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD THINGS; and sent away the rich empty-handed.”

Those of you, my fellow siblings, shout for joy in the midst of your loneliness, bareness, emptiness, blindness, deafness, for He is the only One who is able to fill that empty void in you with nothing short or less than Himself. This is the hour, the time/season of His grace, no longer Christ for us, or with us, but now for Him to be in us as us. Rejoice, and again I say rejoice!

Those who are having their inner senses opened by His spirit are discovering a world of differences with regard to how easy it has been and will continue to be conformed to this present age, verses being in a state of continually being filled with His spirit and being transformed within their soul.

The insatiable longing, hunger, that He has awakened within you is a miracle of His grace, he has lovingly with divine purpose worked a work within you of emptying you of so much that held you back from His living loving reality becoming all part of the norm in you as you, your “birth-right.”
The father of lies resident within us, yes, sorry to inform you, he Satan was not vaporized in your being re-born, he is hell bent on trying to bring you back, charming, bewitching you once again to become entangled in living out your life from the flesh.

I urge you to embrace this time, season of loneliness as His gift, a token of His love to and for you. It is within this unknown, un-chartered setting you along with all those being led by His spirit will try once again to fill the emptiness the loneliness of not having others being with you for a cheap substitute, and that can be defined in many good things, but none the less, mere substitutes.

It is the Father’s intention after emptying you to now fill you, those who He has made hungry with ‘good things’ and those good things He alone will define, make clearly known to you, that’s a given.

In Him we live, move and have our being!
